The Argentine star left some words in tribute to his friend
Leo Messi is one of Jordi Alba's best friends. The Argentinian star spoke about Alba's decision to leave Barça at the end of the season and was very affectionate in his farewell.
"You were more than a team-mate, a true accomplice on the pitch... And how nice it is also to be able to enjoy how well we got along on a personal level," he said on social media.
Messi added: "You know that I always wish you and your family the best, I hope that your new stage will continue to bring you many successes and joys".
He concluded by saying "thank you for everything, Jordi. A big hug!
Now, the big question, with both players free after 30 June, is whether they will meet again at their next destination.
