Leo Messi cuts short his holiday to meet Ronald Koeman in Barcelona
Messi, who has been quiet since Barça's humilating exit in Lisbon, wants to hear Koeman's plans for this season
Leo Messi and Ronald Koeman have met in Barcelona today to discuss the Argentine star's future at the club. The Dutch manager wanted to meet Leo immediately to try and reach a positive solution.
Messi has actually cut short his holiday to meet with Barça's new head coach. Leo is extremely unhappy at the club's performance this season and is considering a move away from the Camp Nou.
Koeman knows if he is to get his project underway, he needs Messi to stay and lead the team.
The Dutchman was working at the Ciutat Esportiva this morning but left just after midday. Koeman is expected to meet Messi in the northern part of Catalunya.
