The Argentinian and Uruguayan didn't go out onto the training pitch today but both are expected to rejoin the main group tomorrow afternoon
Leo Messi and Luis Suárez didn't train on the pitches at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper on Friday. Whilst the rest of their teammates were out on a recovery session, the Argentinian star and the Uruguayan striker were noticeable absentees. The club didn't mention any injury or discomfort for either player and both are expected to play against Valencia on Sunday.
If there are no setbacks, everything suggests Messi and Suarez will return to training on Saturday afternoon in the final session before the match at Mestalla.
At training on Friday the starters against Tottenham did a light recovery session whilst the substitutes trained at a higher intensity. Barça B player, Oriol Busquets, was also involved in the session.
