Lamine Yamal became yesterday, in the match against Betis, the youngest debutant in Barça's history in La Liga at 15 years and 290 days. The home-grown player came on for Gavi in the 83rd minute with the game decided, but offering flashes of his enormous quality.
The player has written a message through his Instagram account showing his happiness. "Dream come true. Happy to be able to debut with this shirt! Thank you very much culers for the support. Let's keep working. Visca el Barça", he wrote.
Lamine Yamal, who wore the number 41 jersey, was able to score within minutes of coming on after stealing a ball from Montoya. His subsequent shot was saved by Rui Silva.
