LaLiga investigating Barcelona's deal over the Neymar case
With the Neymar case seemingly closed, the LFP have decided to start investigating all of a sudden
La Liga announced they are officially opening an investigation into the deal Barcelona agreed with Spain's prosecutor's office regarding the 'Neymar case'.
Their statement read: "After widespread media reports, La Liga confirms an informative hearing will be launched with FC Barcelona in relation to the agreement reached between the club's board and the Spanish Public Prosecutor's Office in the Neymar legal case."
Barcelona had agreed a deal which saw both president Josep Maria Bartomeu and former chief Sandro Rosell escape any punishment, as the club paid 5.5m euros as a punishment.
