The division announced they were hoping for penalties against the Mallorca teen

La Liga said they are looking to take action against the pitch invader who ran on to the field in Barca's 4-0 win over Mallorca.

"Regarding the incident of the pitch invader," said La Liga on Sunday in a statement. "He did it without authorisation, breaking the established protocols from the health legislation and disobeying private security personnel.

"La Liga will take punishment action corresponding to the fact that the deeds done constitute a crime. La Liga wants to show its absolute condemnation of these type of incidents."

The No 10 Argentina shirt-wearing French supporter lives in Mallorca and he managed to sneak into the stadium to try and get a snap with his hero Leo Messi.

However he got one with Jordi Alba and was then caught, and forced to delete the snap by police.

"I had planned this since I knew the match was coming, I wanted a photo and to meet (Messi) because he is my idol," explained the fan on Cadena Cope.

"I saw Alba and took a photo with him then I tried to go for Leo. It doesn't feel that bad not to have got the photo with Leo because they would have made me delete it."
