Kounde responds to Chelsea fan's salary dig: "Paid in full, thanks my G"

One of the transfer sagas of the summer was Barcelona's signing of Jules Kounde. The former Sevilla defender was close to joining Chelsea after weeks of negotiations, but Barça moved at the last moment to seal a deal for the France centre-back.
During the uncertainty surrounding Kounde's future, Chelsea fans were monitoring Barça's financial situation carefully and making comments on it. Therefore, taking advantage of Kounde's post on Twitter about France losing the Eurobasket final to Spain, a Chelsea fan and social media influencer in Ghana, suggested he had not been paid yet by Barça.

The person Kounde replied to is nicknamed KalyJay and is a follower of Chelsea. He made several comments celebrating Kounde's move to Stamford Bridge, something which never happened in the end.
