Koeman reveals when Barça defender Umtiti could be back in action
The Frenchman has not played this season because of a knee problem
Ronald Koeman spoke to the media on Monday about what Barcelona can do to cope without the injured Gerard Pique, who could be out for several months.
Without Pique, and Samuel Umtiti and Ronald Araujo also injured, Clement Lenglet is the only fit centre-back currently in the first-team squad.
There's an increased desire, therefore, to know when Umtiti will be back from his knee injury. He has not played this season.
Koeman said: "We know he's been injured for a while and we hope he will be in shape to play in two weeks. I hope so because it's been a long time since he played, since June, and we need to get players back. He's now training with the group."
In the meantime, Frenkie de Jong is expected to play in defence, although as he's resting this week against Dynamo Kyiv, B teamer Oscar Mingueza is set to get a chance.
