Ronald Koeman got off to the dream start as Barcelona coach on Sunday when his side, spurred on by Ansu Fati, beat Villarreal 4-0.
The Dutchman was full of praise for Ansu, although he still wants more from him: "We have to highlight Ansu's performance. I complained a little but last week about not being at his best in the friendly. He's only 17, he will have a great future, but he can still improve things. Sometimes he lacks concentration."
Koeman continued: "One of my criticisms was in the game against Elche. He wasn't good. Today, yes. The width he offers on the left was huge, he played really well and we took advantage of his qualities."
On the game, the Barça boss commented that "I am really happy with the way we played in the first half, we dominated. We played like a great team, robbing the ball back, our transition in the attack was optimum."
As for Antoine Griezmann as a No.9, Koeman said that "I don't care if he scores or not, I am really happy with his performance. We can play without an outright No.9 but it's always good to have one."
