Juventus want to pip Barça to the latest Brazilian teenage star
The Italian club will pay Vinicius Jr.'s €30 million release clause according to reports
Juve and Barça directors will have lunch together before Tuesday's Champions League game
Juventus, who host Barcelona in the Champions League on Tuesday in Turin, are keen to pip the Catalan club to the signing of Brazil starlet Vinicius Jr.
Barça have showed an interest in the 16-year-old, who they wouldn't be able to sign until he is 18, but Juve feel they can land his signature.
According to 'Il Corriere dello Sport', Juve will pay the release clause to land the Flamengo youngster -- who recently met Neymar in Sao Paulo -- which is set at 30 million euros.
It would be a blow for Barça, who have lost out on signings to Juve in the past, such as Paulo Dybala, who will line up against the Blaugrana on Tuesday at the Juventus Stadium.
For now, though, Vinicius Jr. remains focused on playing for Flamengo and continuing to do well for Brazil's youth teams at international level.
