The Italian champions need a replacement for Alex Sandro who will be out of contract

FC Barcelona have finally started the process of renewing Jordi Alba's contract, which currently expires in 2020.

The long lead-in time before negotiations has happened during a period that Alba has been on the top of his game and got back into the Spain squad.

Per Tuttosport Juventus want to bring Alba in to replace Alex Sandro. The Brazilian's deal expires at the same time as Alba's and he doesn't seem like he wants to renew.

Jordi Alba's release clause is 150m euros and it seems it will be hard for Juve to sign him, considering Alba loves life at Barcelona.

The Old Lady are also thinking about Real Madrid's Brazilian left-back Marcelo. He has a deal until 2022.
