Juventus pushing to seal move for Memphis Depay
The Dutchman is considering a switch to the Serie A club this summer
Memphis Depay may be living his last days as a Barcelona player. The Dutchman knows he won’t get chances this season and is open to a Juventus switch. The Italians are offering him a two year deal with a higher salary than he earns at Camp Nou. If the player gives the nod, Barcelona and Juve will try to find the formula for the move. It could be a transfer straight up, but a loan has been discussed too with an obligatory option to buy.
The idea for Juve is to add goals as soon as they can and with Morata not coming, Memphis is the man. Juve have big FFP issues so that’s why the loan could be used rather than a transfer.
Memphis is looking at other options too but sees Juve as an opportunity, with a new project to try and win Serie A. His lawyers are looking at the operation and he could depart in the coming days.
