Juventus keep Jordi Alba on the agenda
The Old Lady want a replacement for Alex Sandro and Marcelo will not come
Barcelona defender Jordi Alba is on Juventus’s hit list as a possible reinforcement for next season, because he still has not renewed his Barcelona contract which ends in 2020. Alba has a 150m euro release clause.
Alba, who turns 30 in March, returned to Barcelona in 2012 after breaking through at Valencia. He has become a crucial player for Barcelona in the years since and is one of the best defenders in the world.
Alba has been waiting for the club to get in touch to offer him a new deal. The situation has aroused interest in various big clubs, including Juve, PSG, Man United and Man City.
Although their primary target is Marcelo, to reunite him with Cristiano Ronaldo, Real Madrid’s negative means the Old Lady are looking elsewhere.
Alba would like to sign on at Camp Nou but with no offer with him yet, Juve want to take advantage.
