Juventus join list of clubs interested in Barcelona midfielder Kessié
The Ivory Coast international is not short of suitors
Juventus are interested in signing Franck Kessié from Barcelona for next season and have already enquired about him, according to various Italian media reports.
The Serie A club are clear that the performance of the Blaugrana player can be high in Italy and have joined the interest of Milan and Inter in signing him. Tottenham, who wanted him in January, are also waiting for Barça's decision on the midfielder.
Juve want to reshape their midfield after a season in which the team has not clicked. They are going to get rid of Paredes and see Kessié as an interesting player to reinforce the team.
However, the investment will be minimal, so they would prioritise some kind of exchange, something that Inter also negotiated with Barça with the option of Brozovic on the table.
For the moment, Barça have proposed to Kessié a possible salary reduction for next season, something that would not be accepted by the player. From now on, all kinds of scenarios are open and the club could listen to offers if they finally manage to sign Gundogan and Busquets renews his contract.
Xavi, in addition, wants another pivot in front of the defence, so Kessié's participation in the team would be truncated.
The Blaugrana, if Kessié leaves, would prioritise a pure and simple transfer in order to make a profit on the operation. The option of an exchange would only be contemplated if it is interesting from a sporting point of view and if Xavi gives the OK.
