Barcelona want to bring in a No.9 this month per Xavi's request
Juventus don't want to let Alvaro Morata leave the club this month, coach Massimiliano Allegri has confirmed.
"Morata stays here," Allegri said on Wednesday. "He’s not leaving this month. We had a face-to-face meeting and I told him: 'You’re 100% staying.'"
The Spain striker had drawn interest from Barcelona, who want to add more firepower to their attack this month after the arrival of Ferran Torres.
However, for now, Juve are not considering letting the player leave, who is on loan from Atletico Madrid until the end of the season.
The Serie A side then have an option to make the move permanent if they wish.
