Jules Koundé could leave if he is not registered before 31st August

According to the programme Què T'hi Jugues, Barça would have to pay Sevilla 2.5 million of the signed variables.

The programme Què T'hi Jugues has explained that Jules Koundé's contract includes the same exit clause that Andreas Christensen and Franck Kessié had. If Barça do not sign him before 31st August, he will be released. The first two have already been registered, but the Frenchman is still awaiting Barça's move.

According to the same information, Barça would also have to pay Sevilla 2.5 million of the signed variables. However, this is a possibility that the club has ruled out completely, as they are certain that they will be able to register the Frenchman before that date.

To achieve this, they are working on two plans, the departures of Aubameyang, a high-priced player, and Memphis. If they leave, Barça will be able to sign both Koundé and Marcos Alonso. The priority right now is Koundé, although currently, it looks difficult to close his registration before Sunday, when Barça play Real Sociedad in the second round of La Liga.

His presence is not yet ruled out and will depend on how the departures of Auba to Chelsea and Memphis to Juventus develop. Koundé has already made his Barça debut against Pumas but was not included in the squad against Rayo as he was not registered.

The Frenchman arrived this summer from Sevilla as the star signing for the defence. Chelsea came closest to signing him, but in the end, the Frenchman opted for Barça, partly thanks to Xavi, who convinced about him the project.
