The Barcelona president and his board are not stepping down before the vote of no confidence

FC Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu will continue to lead the club and will face the motion of censure in November. Barça's chief will not resign and will continue in office with his current board, as decided at a meeting held this Monday at the Camp Nou offices.

Although it had been reported that Bartomeu might resign from his position immediately, due to the uncertainty about the date and manner of holding the referendum over his future, the president has decided to wait to find out the PROCICAT opinion, specifically, if the health conditions are suitable for holding the referendum this weekend, specifically on Sunday 1st and Monday 2nd at the Camp Nou.

Having ruled out the possibility that there may be several voting venues, the Blaugrana submitted a letter to the Generalitat de Catalunya offering the Camp Nou facilities as the sole venue.

It should be remembered that both the promoter of the motion, Jordi Farré, as well as the 'Més que una Moció' platform, have announced they will take legal action against the board of directors if the vote of no confidence is not launched tomorrow morning.
