Josep Maria Bartomeu, confined because of coronavirus positive in family
The club president cannot go to the game against Ferencvaros on Tuesday night
FC Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu cannot go to the Champions League clash with Ferencvaros on Tuesday night because he must stay in confinement after someone in his family tested positive for Covid-19.
Bartomeu was in contact with the family member who has the virus. He has tested negative and will wait for a second test to confirm his status.
The news comes the same day the club announced that Bartomeu has called a board meeting on Mon Oct 26, with two key points - discussing the future of the club after the vote of no confidence, and if there will be resignations.
