The president spoke ahead of the opening of the new Barcelona stadium at the training ground
Barcelona opened their new Johan Cruyff stadium at the training ground on Tuesday with a party, and the phrase 'your dreams dream of you'.
Various groups of artists, dancers and musicians performed ahead of the clash between Juvenil A and Ajax's youth team.
President Josep Maria Bartomeu delivered a speech before the game. "We're living through an historic moment which will remain in the collective memory of Barcelonismo," he said. "Today we inaugurate the first piece of the Espai Barca, a dream that started with the referendum in April 2014 and now is a reality.
"This Johan Cruyff stadium, where Barca B, Juvenil A and the women's team, will play, allows us to replace the mini Estadi."
