The club president spoke after the Copa del Rey triumph

FC Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu does not want to give up on keeping Andres Iniesta at the club. Asked about the playmaker, Bartomeu said: "Iniesta is happy for the title. He's been playing well for a while, he's a player who has marked an era at the club which started with Ronaldinho. We have the best in the world, which is Messi, but he is an unrepeatable player.

"He's shown how to play, how to deal with the temperature of the game. We will enjoy him. There is still the league season left and we hope that he's at the next game. Will he go? Ask him. I know he has offers but Barca is the team of his life, he arrived at 12 years old, he's given everything and has an indefinite contract."

DOUBLE

Bartomeu added after the Copa del Rey win over Sevilla: "Today we saw the best side in the world playing football. We clashed with a worthy rival, but it was impossible for Sevilla, we were superior. I congratulate this team, because they have been here in an era of success, winning and making the fans enjoy themselves."

He did not want to take the double as won. "We have not won La Liga yet, there's a game or two to go and some points. We would like to win it but we have to enjoy the cup now, it's an important title. We had a bad result in the UCL but the team has gone over it, we have a great side. I hope we can celebrate the league title soon but we have to play a few more games."
