The Portuguese coach wants to bring in competition for Luke Shaw, per The Sun
Jose Mourinho was close to leaving Manchester United a few weeks ago but feels stronger due to recent results. The Portuguese is even thinking about reinforcements to improve the quality of a squad that hasn't stood up in the big games.
Per The Sun, Jordi Alba is the man who Mourinho wants to reinforce the left-back spot. He would like competition from Luke Shaw, with Blind, Rojo, Darmian and Young not enough to challenge the Englishman.
Mourinho will have to dig deep and pay Alba's release clause. The defender has not yet renewed his contract with Barcelona.
