Jose Mourinho's Roma set to face Barcelona in the Gamper
The Portuguese coach is an old enemy of the Catalans after his time with Madrid and Chelsea
Barcelona are planning their pre-season games for next season and it seems like on top of playing in Australia and the United States they are arranging the 57th edition of the Joan Gamper Trophy, against an old enemy.
SPORT have invited Roma, whose coach Jose Mourinho, was a rival when he was at Real Madrid and Chelsea.
In fact he started his career as an assistant to Louis van Gaal at Barcelona and has been involved in various controversies with the Catalans since.
Mourinho will return to the stadium for the game which is set to take place on either the sixth or seventh of August. It’s not official yet, but barring a surprise, that’s what will happen.
It will also be a return for Carles Perez, who left Barcelona in 2020 having played 13 games for the first team.
