Lionel Messi's contract renewal is being discussed with Jorge in Barcelona
The club insist everything is going well although there has been no confirmation yet
Lionel Messi’s father Jorge is in Barcelona and will stay for a couple more.
He is negotiating secretly with club executives and everything is at an advanced stage.
The plan is for the club to seal the deal for a new contract for Messi as soon as possible and have everything ready in case there is an unexpected slip-up in La Liga.
However as Joaquin Maria Puyal said on Tdp before the game against Osasuna, “it will not be that difficult to renew Messi because Messi is a cute, he is one of our own”.
That much was shown with his gesture at the Bernabeu. On Wednesday after the game Sport saw Jorge Messi dining at the restaurant Nuba, owned by director Javier Bordas. They could not greet each other because Bordas was not there.
