Jorge Messi, Leo Messi's father and representative, has denied on his Instagram account that the quotes published by La Nacion, an Argentine newspaper, are true. They have audio of someone he calls an 'imitator' speaking as Messi, making a confession that he is going to join Man City.
His father railed against the newspaper for falling for the hoax, as the Messi story keeps flying, with the player set to join Manchester City or Inter Milan.
Jorge Messi wrote: "Hi La Nacion, this is fake. This confession does not exist, it's the audio of an imitator."
