The Blaugrana defender is a key player and has been rewarded with a big new deal
Two days ahead of the key UCL showdown with Lyon, Jordi Alba will sign a new Barcelona deal that ties him to the club until 2024. On Feb 28 SPORT revealed the club would give him a new contract, hours before it became official.
The renewal will take place in the presidential box at Camp Nou at 1.30pm and count on the presence of the Barca chief Josep Maria Bartomeu. The player will speak to the media afterwards.
Alba renews his deal until 2024. The full-back has become one of the most important players at the club in both defence and attack. His deal will end when he reaches 35 years of age.
