Jordi Alba blasts Valencia fans after Mestalla treatment
The left-back is not given a good time by his former club¿s fans

Jordi Alba can’t understand why Valencia supporters have not forgiven him for leaving the club for Barcelona in 2012.
Left-back Alba scored the equaliser at Mestalla on Sunday in a 1-1 draw but was given abuse by the home supporters throughout the game.
“I don’t understand the reception I’ve got from [the Valencia supporters] for the last six seasons,” Alba said after scoring his third goal in four starts for club and country.
“I think they should have more respect for me, the same as I have for them. I joined them for free and they got a lot of money when I left. I will always be grateful to the club.
“But the treatment I get here isn’t good. I gave everything for Valencia, they have to understand that I left to go home.
“I decided to go to Barcelona, which is where I’m from, and the best club in the world.”
