The president will give explanations and has scheduled a presser in April

FC Barcelona members will receive in the next few days a letter from the club president, Joan Laporta, in which he will give some explanations about the 'Negreira Case'.

In the letter, the club's members will also be informed of the strategy that Barça will follow in the coming months to defend itself in court against the accusations of the Public Prosecutor's Office. In this letter, Laporta will once again defend Barça's innocence and reiterate that the club has never bought referees.

Another letter will also be sent to the club's sponsors with the aim of reassuring them all and defending Barça's innocence. This letter has also been sent to the future investors in Espai Barça through Goldman Sachs at a time when the financing of the project is close to being finalised.

A letter will also be sent to official bodies, many of which have joined the case following the step taken by the Public Prosecutor's Office. This is the case of UEFA, LaLiga, the CSD and the Spanish Football Federation.

These explanations, which the president will give by post to the club's members and which will also be sent to official bodies, sponsors and investors, will be followed up in the press conference that the Barça president promised at the time, which is now scheduled for April 12. That's when the investigation that the board of directors decided to open into the case and which the compliance department outsourced, with the lawyer Andreu Van den Eynde in charge of the investigation, will be completed.
