Lionel Messi’s future has not been resolved. He’s currently a free agent and has not signed a renewal with Barcelona. The club say Mess wants to stay and will but the next few days will be intense and decisive.
Club president Joan Laporta spoke about the situation. “Messi? It’s progressing. He wants to stay, we want him to stay. And we’re on the path to finding the formula,” he told Deportes Cuatro.
Although he has not reached a deal yet with Barca everything indicates that it will come soon. The club are trying to calm the nerves of fans waiting for the news.
