Javier Tebas: I think Ousmane Dembele will not stay in La Liga
The president of the Spanish top flight gave his thoughts on Dembele, Mbappe and Haaland
La Liga president Javier Tebas spoke on Radio Marca and said he does not think that Ousmane Dembele “will stay in La Liga”.
On Kylian Mbappe and the latest reports that he will stay at Paris Saint-Germain, Tebas though the opposite. “I think he will end up signing for Real Madrid,” said Tebas.
Media in Madrid also denied the claim by some French media that Mbappe was considering staying and signing a new deal.
Finally, Tebas was also asked about Erling Haaland and if he would come to Barcelona in the summer. “It’s impossible,” said Tebas.
He also spoke about his disagreement with Real Madrid chief Florentino Perez.
“It’s not a personal thing, it’s a way of understanding football differently. We think the European model of having national leagues is a success, we have to continue with it. A Super League is no solution. He has that way of thinking and we can’t agree.”
