The Croatian is back at Camp Nou, his former home

After six seasons at Barcelona, Ivan Rakitic went back to Sevilla. The Croatian scored the second goal in their 2-0 win over the Catalans in the Copa del Rey semi-final first leg win. He will be back to his old stomping ground on Wednesday night for the second leg.

“We have to change details like for the first goal,” said Rakitic, of Barcelona’s 2-0 league win on Saturday at the Sanchez-Pizjuan, speaking to Radio Marca.

“They robbed us and Leo got the ball, turned and could give the pass. You can’t allow Barca that. We did not suffer that much, you can’t allow them the bare minimum.”

He says he has changed in his second spell at the Andalusian club.

“I’m a more complete player, I’m enjoying football more than before, I appreciate each moment more and the details are more important,” said Rakitic. “I should perform much better, of course. It’s normal because you notice the change, after six year at Barca with one way of playing.”
