Ivan Rakitic, Barcelona’s Croatian centre-midfielder, spoke about whom he wants to take over next season when Luis Enrique leaves.
He has put his chips down on the side of Juan Carlos Unzue, Lucho’s assistant coach.
Speaking to RAC-1, he said: “I’m sure that the president and whoever will choose the new coach will do so looking for a person who they trust, who will keep them calm.
“Juan Carlos is someone who has had years with us, who was already at the club. I’m sure the club will decide what is best and I will back them. Unzue is a man who we know well, he works with us and that’s it.”
