It's been twelve long seasons since Valencia last beat FC Barcelona in a league match at Mestalla. In that time there have been seven draws and five victories for the visiting team.

The last victory came in 2007 when Miguel Angel Angulo and David Silva scored to give Valencia a 2-1 triumph. Ronaldinho got the consolation strike for Barça.
