According to 'Corriere Dello Sport', Inter see Junior as a vital part of any potential deal for Lautaro Martinez
Inter Milan are still interested in signing Junior Firpo this summer. The young full-back has been mentioned as someone who could move to Milan as part of a deal which would see Lautaro Martinez join Barça but talks have stalled in recent weeks. However, Junior remains a player Inter are keen on.
According to 'Corriere Dello Sport', Inter's only hopes of signing Junior rest on Lautaro moving in the opposite direction. A separate deal for the young Spaniard would be very difficult to pull off. Inter have so far only suggested a loan but that doesn't interest Barça at all.
Ronald Koeman's opinion will also be important here. However, Barça won't let Junior go out on loan or for a low fee. This means that unless Inter decide to sell Lautaro, it appears unlikely Firpo will join them this month.
