Injury update on Barça trio Gavi, Gundogan & Christensen after Clasico

Gavi missed the game with a back problem and the other two both came off in the first half

Despite the hopes of seeing him in action in the Clasico, Gavi was not present against Real Madrid due to a back problem, a physical setback that already forced him to miss the opening game of Barcelona's American tour against Arsenal.

The debut of the Azulgrana midfielder in the United States will have to wait. Xavi already said a few days ago that Gavi would not be in the first game against the English because he had a minor problem, a feeling that does not seem to have improved and with which no risks will be taken.

Gavi, Clement Lenglet and Íñigo Martinez were absent from the clash against Arsenal and none featured against Madrid, either.

The 18-year-old midfielder was also one of those affected by the outbreak of gastroenteritis that left Barça hampered at the start of the tour and forced the cancellation of the first match against Juve.

Later, Ilkay Gündogan and Andreas Christensen both came off with knocks in the first half as Barça beat Madrid 3-0, although it's hoped they will both be available for the Milan game on Tuesday.
