Sources consulted by sport insist that the negotiations have not broken down

Andres Iniesta's people came out on Thursday to deny that the player's planned move to Chinese side Chongqing Dangdai has broken down.

On Thursday the website of Spanish newspaper Marca said there were problems with Iniesta's move and that "a financial agreement with China cannot be reached".

Sources close to Iniesta consulted by Sport, however, have denied that these problems exist and insist that everything is fine.

In any case, they say that everything remains as planned, with Iniesta holding a farewell press conference on Friday to announce his departure.

It is true, however, that not everything is signed and sealed yet, and there are still some issues to resolve, but the negotiations are very far advanced and everything indicate that he will leave Barça after 16 glorious years.
