The Barça midfielder may leave for China at the end of the season

Andres Iniesta was one of the Barcelona players who spoke to the media after the loss to Roma in the Champions League on Tuesday. 

The Barça captain said it was a "painful defeat" because they had not "expected it" with the 4-1 lead they had from the first leg. 

Iniesta added that the Champions League is a competition which punishes you if you don't play well. 

He also said: "We didn't adapy to the game and we are all disappointed to be knocked out, it's a tough one to take." 

Asked if it could be his last ever European game with Barça, the midfielder suggested it could be. 

"It’s a possiblity, that’s why it’s tough to take," he said. "But it's tough to take for everyone. There is lots of excitement for this competition and we have failed again."  

The Spain midfielder said the players will now give everything so that they can win the league and the cup this season.
