Former Barcelona midfielder Andres Iniesta spoke to Onda Cero on Sunday about the Spanish national team and Barcelona.
The Vissel Kobe player was asked if he would rather see Barça sign Erling Haaland or Kylian Mbappe.
"They're players that everyone is talking about," he said. "They both have tremendous quality, each one has their own characteristics, but maybe Mbappe would be a better fit, although I don't know if it will be possible."
Iniesta also turned his attention to Spain's Euro 2020 campaign, where Barça midfielder Pedri is once again drawing comparisons with the ex-La Roja star.
"He's a player that links well and has that intelligence to think before receiving the ball, without forgetting that he's 18, with the national team and has played almost the whole season with his club," Iniesta said.
"He is a kid that has to keep developing and learning. I know because I know him and I've spoken with him that he's focused on what he has to do and has things clear.
"When he plays, I see a player that is having a good time and isn't thinking about anything other than playing and enjoying himself."
On Spain, he added: "The national team deserve some peace and support because they're a new team. The players need the support of the fans."
