Rome will see the Barça duo bring up their century

The Stadio Olimpico in Rome will see Andres Iniesta and Lionel Messi mark a special chapter in their particular history with Barcelona.

The Roman stadium will see them bring up their 100th game playing alongside each other in Europe wearing Barça's colours.

Iniesta made his debut in the Champions League in 2002 but it wasn't until two years later that Messi joined him on the European stage.

The Spain midfielder has played 131 times in the competition since making his bow (129 proper and two qualifiers) while Messi has made 124 Champions League appearances.

Together, they have experiences some great night, but have been knocked out at the quarterfinal stage in each of the last two seasons.

They have won the trophy four times (2006, 2009, 2011, 2015) although Messi did not take part in the 2006 final due to an injury.

Will they win a fifth title in Kyiv this year?
