The former Barça captain spoke about a range of subjects in a radio interview

Andres Iniesta spoke to 'El Larguero' on 'Cadena Ser' about his Barcelona exit, Julen Lopetegui's dismissal and the chances of Neymar moving to Real Madrid.

Maybe it's the calmness which comes with being 10,000km away, but the former Barça midfielder spoke frankly.

On Neymar, he said: "It would hurt me to see Neymar wearing [Madrid's] white, because Barça still have unique players and I still see a team which can win every trophy."

The ex-Spain international said about the Brazilian coming back to Camp Nou: "It would be too strong to say he can't come back, but I think it would be difficult."

However, with Thiago Alcantara "it's different. He's a player with Barcelona's profile and he would be a great signing."

Iniesta also had a message for Lopetegui, sacked by Spain before the World Cup and then by Madrid after their Clasico mauling.

"Julen knew the team he was going to and the demands," he said. "He knew what Madrid had done last season and what they've been doping. It wasn't an easy challenge and there's a president and results that say that there's no patience to keep him on."

On his Barça exit, he added: "I wish my body had said I could have another 10 years there, because I'm not better off anywhere else. But everyone has to listen to their head and know when to say enough."
