Iniesta has given his opinion on Neymar's PSG future
The Barça midfielder would be surprised if he returned to Camp Nou
Andrés Iniesta spoke 'El Larguero' about his former Barcelona teammate Neymar and his future at Paris Saint-Germain. The Brazilian's presence in France remains in doubt after PSG were knocked out of the Champions League.
"To be honest, Neymar's future is not something I'm thinking about," Iniesta said, although he would be surprised to see him return to Barça.
"Normally, when you leave somewhere it's difficult to go back. For that reason, it would surprise me more if he returned rather than going to another team, but we will see."
A "we will see" that leaves the option open, although Neymar's more likely to end up with Florentino Perez at Real Madrid.
"If they sign him, Madrid would land one of the best in the world," Iniesta added. "But we [Barça] would still have a squad which I consider better."
Iniesta and Neymar played together at Barça for four seasons, from the Brazilian's arrival in 2013 until his departure in 2017. They won two leagues, three cups, a Champions League, a Club World Cup, two Spanish Super Cups and one European Super Cup together.
