Ilkay Gundogan’s presentation details revealed

One of FC Barcelona's brand new signings for the new season, Ilkay Gündogan, has already been given a date to wear the FC Barcelona kit for the first time and step on the pitch.

Specifically, it will be the Tito Vilanova pitch at the Ciudad Deportiva Joan Gamper. The presentation, as Barça announced on Saturday, will take place on Monday 17 July at 11am.

Gündogan's day will begin with the private signing of the contract, before later donning the new kit and boots and presenting himself in public on the pitch, along with the obligatory photographs.

Afterwards, the player will hold a press conference at the same sports city.

Gündogan is expected to arrive in Barcelona on Saturday, join Xavi Hernandez's team on Monday and travel with the full squad to the United States for the pre-season tour from Wednesday.

The agenda for Ilkay Gündogan's official presentation with FC Barcelona:

-11.00 h: Private signing of the contract in the offices of the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper.

-11.25am: Public signing on the pitch at the Tito Vilanova stadium. Afterwards, photo session with the player wearing the blaugrana's first kit for the 23/24 season.

-12.15 p.m. Press conference in the press room of the Ciudad Deportiva Joan Gamper.
