How Barcelona's loan players are doing this season
Almost all of them have the confidence of their coaches and are important figures
Unlike in other seasons it seems this year Barcelona have done well with the clubs they have chosen for players to go on loan at. Most of those sent out have the confidence of their coaches and are important players.
One case where that isn't true is Arda Turan, who is banned and having a tough time in Turkey.
Here are the six players Barca have out on loan...
PACO ALCÁCER (BORUSSIA DORTMUND)
Head of the list for his spectacular start to the season, Only physical problems stopped him being called up to the latest Spain squad. Netted the winner in Borussia Dortmund's 3-2 win over Bayern Munich and has eight goals in six games. In total he has 9 goals in 400 minutes, for the Bundesliga leaders.
ANDRÉ GOMES (EVERTON)
The Portugueuse midfielder is fighting against bad luck. Injuries kept him out of Everton's start to the season but now he's fit he has 2 wins, 1 draw and 1 defeat. He was called up by Portugual but more injury problems saw him drop out of the squad.
MARLON SANTOS (SASSUOLO)
The Brazilian is fitting in well in the defence, an undoubted starter. Has responded to the confidence put in him and even scored a goal. Sassuolo have started well, seventh in Serie A with 19 points, the same as Roma, 2 from Milan.
MARC CUCURELLA (EIBAR)
The young full back is playing at Eibar. osé Luis Mendilibar started him in the Copa del Rey against Sporting (a 2-0 defeat) y and in the draw against Real Valladolid. He is gaining experience and minutes in the top flight.
DOUGLAS PEREIRA (SIVASSPOR)
Another case of a player who has found his place. Douglas never came into Barca's schemes but is playing under Tamer Tuna at Sivasspor. He has only missed one match in the league, through suspension. He has scored one goal and provided three assists, with the team 11th.
SERGI PALENCIA (BORDEAUX)
A fixture for Eric Bedouet in Ligue 1, playing in 12 of 13 matches, and also a Spain U21 regular. The left back is taking advantage of his loan. The team are 11th with 16 points, the same as Reims, Nantes and Rennes.
