Higuain: Of course I would advise Messi to play for Juventus
The striker plays with Messi for Argentine and would love to see how he'd get on in Italy
Juventus' Argentine striker Gonzalo Higuain said on Saturday that he would advise Lioenl Messi to sign for the Turin-based club and highlighted that Serie A is a "tough" league which helps you improve.
"Of course I would advise Messi to play for Juventus. It's a tough league, especially when it comes to defending; I don't know if Messi or Cristiano Ronaldo would score the same amount of goals here, but we would have to see. What is true is that Serie A is difficult -- it's done me good, I have improved," Higuain told Tuttosport.
The Argentine is happy to have signed for Juve and compared the Italian giants with his former club, Real Madrid.
"It's very similar, almost equal to Real Madrid," he added. "at Madrid and Juventus, the goal is to reach the final in every competition. Both teams are demanding. You can change the way that you play, but the mentality is that you have to win everything."
