Setién could return to the 4-3-3 with Ansu Fati slotting back into the first team picture

On Saturday, FC Barcelona welcome Getafe to the Camp Nou and Quique Setien could return to his most attacking formation. After trying a 4-4-2 diamond against Real Betis, everything suggests a return to 4-3-3 is on the cards this weekend.

This is primarily because Ansu Fati is ready to return to the attack. Setien has so far rotated both Ansu and Griezmann out of the team as he looks to keep everyone fresh. This could mean a rest for Lionel Messi but, taking into account the Copa exit and the standard of opponent, that appears unlikely.

During that time Arturo Vidal, as a 'false nine', and Sergi Roberto, on the right of the attack, have been used.

The biggest issue for Setien is in defence. Umtiti returned to training today but has been suffering from discomfort in his knee. Semedo remains a major doubt for the game this weekend and Pique has also missed some sessions this week.

This means the most likely defensive line is Roberto, Umtiti, Pique and Jordi Alba. Lenglet is suspended whilst Marc-Andre ter Stegen will remain between the sticks.

In midfield, Busquets and de Jong appear certain to start again. The final spot will go to one of Vidal, Arthur or Rakitic.

Messi, Ansu and Griezmann will lead the attack.
