Harsh ban for Moussa Wague for red card after fan altercation
The Barca B player was hit with a four match ban and the club will appeal
Moussa Wague has been hit with a four match ban after his red card against Ejea. Wague was sorry for what he did - pushing an Ejea fan on the side of the head after he would not give the ball back for a throw-in - and complained of racist chanting, but has still been given a tough penalty.
It all happened in the final stage of the clash when Barca B were looking for a goal to draw. Wague tried to get it back from the fans who wouldn't give it to him and the referee sent him off for "hitting a fan in the face trying to get the ball back when the ball was not in play".

BARCA APPEAL
SPORT have learned that Barca are going to try to get Wague's punishment reduced. They will base their arguement on his apology, how the spectator held on to the ball and the chants he had to listen to.
