Hansi Flick back in Barcelona orbit as potential Koeman replacement
The Bayern Munich coach is leaving the club and has signed nothing with Germany
Joan Laporta is looking for a potential Ronald Koeman replacement. The Dutchman’s last game seems like it will be on Saturday. The president was clear when he says a cycle has ended.
Xavi’s name has been strongly linked but Laporta has also made contact with Hansi Flick, who is leaving Bayern Munich.
ESPN reported that they had approached the German coach but he was not going to come. But RAC1 have now said that he may change his mind. Laporta has Flick high up on his list to take over next season.
It seemed like he was going to take over the German national team after Joachim Loew, but nothing has been signed.
Flick thrived at Bayern and he is expected to adapt well to Barca’s style.
Another name mentioned is Arsenal’s Mikel Arteta, despite his results in London.
