Guti says "even Modric" is capable of magic Messi produced vs. Espanyol
The former Real Madrid man thinks people have got carried away about Messi's derby performance
José María Gutiérrez, Guti, doesn't feel that move which has led to the world praising Lionel Messi once again -- his dribble(s) against Espanyol -- was anything special.
In fact, the former Real Madrid player took importance away from the Messi magic by claiming many other players could do the same, including several from his ex-club.
"It's a great move, nothing more," he said on the show 'El Chiringuito de Jugones' on Mega. "I think the goalkeeper could do better, the shot is easy to save and he gifts a goal to [Luis] Suarez."
Guti continued by reeling off players who could do the same: "Neymar, Cristiano Ronaldo, Gareth Bale... even Modric could do it."
SPORT's representative on the show, Carme Barceló, responded: "Well, let them do it then!"
And Guti insisted: "You will see moves in this style from Cristiano. They exaggerate everything that the great players do."
