Barcelona and Sevilla will play the Copa del Rey final at the Wanda Metropolitano
Barcelona wanted to change the date of the Copa del Rey final (April 21), because the Champions League semi-final first leg takes place on April 25 and they might be in it.
However due to a crowded calendar it was not possible, explained Guillermo Amor on Monday, the club's director of instituitonal relations.
"For us it's fine, after we tried to do a few things, some difficult and impossible, we think the date was difficult to change. It was not possible for a question of the calendar, a huge amount of games, a lot of competitions. We're in all of them and hope to continue until the end. If you play on all those dates it's a good sign," said Amor.
