Guardiola: "Setién's teams have always played really nice football"
The former Barça coach and current Manchester City manager has given his thoughts on Setien's appointment
In August, Quique Setien and his coaching staff travelled to Manchester where they met with Pep Guardiola. They were shown around Manchester City's training centre and just five months later, Setien has been named as FC Barcelona's new coach.
"He was here in Manchester. He and his staff were very friendly. It was a pleasure," admitted Guardiola. "I wish Quique Setien the best. His teams have always played really nice football. I followed him especially during his time at Betis."
Es un enorme privilegio poder disfrutar de momentos de fútbol como el de hoy. 🙏🏽⚽️💙 pic.twitter.com/b2KdWHyXmF
