Barcelona would be willing to listen to offers for the France forward this summer

Manchester City will persevere with their attempts to sign Harry Kane this summer. The Tottenham striker is Pep Guardiola's top target but negotiations are not advancing. Better said, Spurs don't seem keen on sitting down to discuss the sale of their star player.

Director of football Fabio Paratici assured recently that the London club don't want to lose Kane, which is forcing City to look for a Plan B. According to the English media, Antoine Griezmann could be an option.

Various tabloids in the country point out that Griezmann's always been to Guardiola's taste. In addition, the relationship between Guardiola and Joan Laporta could help a deal come to fruition, with Barça needing money and to reduce their wage bill. The France forward is one of their top earners.

We will have to see if the rumours progress. On Sunday, the TV3 journalist Lluis Canut, who's close to Ronald Koeman, said the front three next season will be Messi, Aguero and Depay, with Griezmann as a backup.

Griezmann has a contract at Camp Nou until 2024 and so far has not talked about a transfer. However, Barça urgently need to cut costs and the injury to Ousmane Dembele has increased the noise around Griezmann.
